  1. You can ftp Sparkle from sumex-aim.stanford.edu (or a mirror like 
  2. mrcnext.cso.uiuc.edu) in info-mac/grf/util.

  4. You can ftp the Thread Manager from ftp.apple.com in 
  5. dts/mac/sys.soft/extensions/Thread_manager_201.hqx
  6. Thread Manager is built into System 7.5.

  8. Regarding ObjectSupportLib:
  9. This is a real pain to get. The answer is
  10. * If you have a CD-ROM drive, on the PowerMac CD-ROM do a search for the file. 
  11. It should be there somewhere, deep in the AppleScript folder. Once you 
  12. find it, copy it into the Extensions folder.
  13. * If you or a friend don't have a CD-ROM drive, you are SOL.
  14. Why don't you call Apple as well and complain to them. Maybe if enough 
  15. users complain they'll realise they have been very silly about this and get 
  16. their act together.
